Step 1: Cloud API on the terminal
Power on the terminal → swipe down → Connections → Cloud API (sometimes API) → Connect.
The terminal shows a pairing code.

Step 2: Pair in POSBridge
Terminals page → Pair new reader → enter code → enter name → Pair. The terminal is immediately ready to use.

Step 3: Assign location
Select terminal in the list → Assign → select Shopify location from dropdown → Save.
Without location: no payment possible.

Step 4: Check status
Select terminal → click Status. Status is fetched from SumUp. Expected status after pairing: ONLINE (or IDLE if terminal is currently inactive).

Make sure there are no leading or trailing spaces in the code. The code is case-insensitive. If the issue persists: restart terminal and re-enable API mode.

Click Sync (top right on Terminals page) to load all terminals from SumUp. If terminal still does not appear: reload the page.
