Select terminal
Click on the terminal in the terminals list.

Optionally check status
Click Status to fetch current connection, battery level and firmware version.

Assign
In the terminals list tap Assign (dialog title Assign terminal). Choose the Shopify location.

POS Device Mapping (Optional)
In the same dialog under POS Device Mapping (Optional) choose an iPad. There is no second “Assign POS device” button.

Mark as default
If you have multiple terminals at a location: mark the preferred terminal as default. This is used when no POS device has a specific terminal assigned.

Assign
In the dialog tap Assign. The primary action is not Save.
