# Add POS Extension to Smart Grid

> Add the POSBridge tile to the Shopify POS Smart Grid.

*About 2 minutes*

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Shopify POS">
    Launch the Shopify POS app on your iPad or iPhone.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Edit Smart Grid">
    Tap the **pencil icon ✏️** at the top right of the Smart Grid area.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add app tile">
    Tap **Add app tile** → search for **POSBridge SumUp Payment**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add">
    Tap **Add**. Drag the tile to a clearly visible position in the Smart Grid.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Done">
    Tap **Done**. The POSBridge tile is now visible in the Smart Grid.
  </Step>

<Warning>
  These steps must be performed **separately** on each iPad and iPhone. The tile position is saved per device.

    Make sure POSBridge is installed in Shopify Admin and an active plan (or trial) exists. After installation it can take up to 5 minutes for the app to appear in POS search.
